Our Team

My name is Janis and I am the owner and manager of The Styling Stable. I am a qualified hairstylist with over 25 years in the hairdressing industry.  I have owned my salon for the last 2 years, and take pride in offering outstanding communication and service to our clients as well as ongoing education for all members of my team.

I no longer work as a stylist on the salon floor, instead focusing on training my team to give the absolute best service to our clients! Although I have handed over the creative reins to my amazing team, I still have a HUGE passion for making people feel beautiful, and am in the salon most days to support my team and to have a chat with our clients. I love meeting new faces as well as having a catch up with all those who are regular visitors to the salon.

My salon team are all talented and experienced stylists, who are passionate about hair and making people feel amazing. They will work with you every time to make sure you have the hair you’ve always wanted.

Jess is our Salon Manager and an experienced senior member of our team. Jess is a qualified and creative stylist with over 10 years experience in the hairdressing industry, and has been a part of our team since May 2017.

Jess is the salon’s blonde and balayage specialist. With extensive experience in foils and fashion blondes, Jess is a miracle worker when it comes to hair lightening. Not only does Jess do incredible foils, but she also picks the perfect toner every time, so your blonde will never be brassy or yellow.

Parris is known as the salon’s little Rockstar Stylist! She Joined our team in July 2018 and completed her apprenticeship in our salon.

Parris is our resident Keratin Smoothing expert and loves to give her clients hair that is soft, smooth and easy to manage with this amazing treatment. She is also amazing and experienced in vivid/vibrant colours and loves to create something out of the ordinary for her clients

She focuses on ALWAYS listening to what her clients want with their cut and colour and will take every step to ensure that her clients are leaving with EXACTLY the hair that they have asked for.

Katrina is a 4th year apprentice and our ‘new girl’ here at The Styling Stable.

Katrina first started hairdressing a long time ago and after having quite a big break from the industry, she returned about 18 months ago and is absolutely LOVING it.

Katrina’s favourite thing service in the salon is colour – she loves that there are no limits to how creative you can be. She is currently working on perfecting her cutting skills and loves learning new techniques. She is very passionate about absorbing as much knowledge as possible, and believes the best part about hairdressing is helping people achieve their desired style.

Candace is one of our apprentices here at The Styilng Stable. Candace started with us in mid-2020 and has made a very quick start on her apprenticeship modules

Candace is extremely keen to learn and has quickly moved into colouring and learning how to perfect ladies haircutting (she gives fantastic scalp massages too!). She is also amazing at providing keratin treatments.

Candace is known as a “perfectionist” and will make sure your shampoo, head massage, blow dry and keratin is thorough and flawless!
